REGARDING the comments made by ‘Name Withheld’ in (“Footy toilet facilities a disgrace”, TDT 24/07/2009), I would invite he/she to attend the oval at 10:00 am Saturday, when the toilets are first opened.
They are clean and adequate toilet paper is provided.
Attend the oval same time on Sunday, just before they are cleaned, and you’ll observe rolls of toilet paper strewn over the floors, and thrown into the toilet bowls.
Add to that, the indiscriminate disposal of nappies, then you can see how problems arise.
I know this for a fact as I clean the toilets.
As for the rubbish bins, most of them are overturned to be used as seats, resulting in rubbish being strewn around the oval, again.
