Nancy comes from southern central NSW and knows how small communities ‘tick’ in relation to both lifestyle and work.

Nancy is from an Italian family background sharing an in-depth knowledge of cross-cultural experiences in rural Australia including learning English as a second language.

Nancy brings a wealth of experience to the position of electorate officer from a diverse employment background in both government and the non-government sector and is keen to learn about our unique Territory lifestyle.

Electorate officers not only support the local Member of Parliament but also the electoral community as a front line researcher both gathering information and helping constituents to work through their issues.

Electorate officers manage an office provided by the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly and represent a ‘grass-roots’ service delivery in the community for both liaising with government departments and administering diverse inquiries for people throughout the electorate.

Community groups are also encouraged to liaise with the electorate officer who acts as the contact person for the MLA who inturn, informs Government about the machinations of community life and the needs of the electorate and its people.

Ironically there are no politics on the front line of the Electorate office as both the MLA and the electorate officer provide a service of government for all Territorians seeking help and advice utilising the resources and experience provided.
