Shooters march towards better scores and grades

MARCH was a great month for some shooters who started to consolidate their technique in good scores with several personal best scores being recorded and one grade break.

Members are looking forward to the coming cooler mornings which will see a few start to shoot two matches on Sundays.

The Club welcomed new members Nicki Djapouras and Russell O’Donnell and we should start to see them competing in matches once their safety and basic coaching has finished.

Results were:

Sport Pistol: Rohan Crisp 536, Robin Small 501, Dee the Shooting Chef 461, Craig Cuttance 452, Renato Guartico 445, Albert Van Den Hoek 367 and Charmaine Taylor (two hands) 453.

Congratulations to Craig Cuttance for a personal best score.

Standard Pistol: Jim Cruise 508, John Bertram 444, Eric Brahim 442, Dee the shooting chef 441, Robin Small 422, Noel Marsh 259.

Congratulations to Dee for a personal best score.

Unrestricted Service Pistol: John Bertram 760, Noel Marsh 594.

25 Yards Service Pistol: Rohan Crisp 551, John Bertram 531, Noel Marsh 350.

Congratulations to John Bertram for a personal best score and a grade break to C Grade.

WA1500: John Bertram 1292, Jim Cruise 1134, Eric Brahim 965.

Centre-fire Pistol: Jim Cruise 547, Eric Brahim 351.

50 Metre Pistol: Jim Cruise 482, Dee 366.
