JULALIKARI Council trainees recently celebrated the completion of Certificate II in Conservation and Land Management.
The seven trainees, who have been on the job since the beginning of the year, graduated last Wednesday.
Having begun as Community Development Employment Program (CDEP) participants, the graduates have now moved into full time employment.
One person has taken up a position with the Central Land Council while the others will work as part of the Julalikari Land Management Unit .
They will be involved in providing services such as dust suppression, erosion control, fire management, declared-weed control and landscaping at around 50 communities as well as cattle stations throughout the Barkly.
